Street art – Painting 314 endangered bird species on the facades of Manhattan (11 pics)

The Audubon Mural Project is a huge street art project whose goal is to paint 314 endangered bird species on the facades of Manhattan. This massive project began in New York in October 2014 thanks to a collaboration between the National Audubon Society and the Gitler &_____ gallery. This project wants to raise awareness about the issues of global warming, but also pays tribute to John James Audubon , an American ornithologist, naturalist and painter from France, seen as the first ornithologist of the New World.
