When 13 artists and designers are revisiting the funeral urn (17 pics)

Urns is a project created by  Shelf , a collaborative design platform, which invited 13 artists and designers to revisit the concept of the funeral urn. By questioning the aesthetics and function of the object, artists and designers also question our relationship to death, influenced by the different cultures and religions. These 13 creations, directed by Mexican designer Ricardo Casas, were presented at  ZONAMACO , one of Latin America’s largest contemporary art fairs.
