3D Fashion – A student creates her own collection at home with a 3D printer (17 pics)

To create her graduate fashion collection,  Danit Peleg , a textile design student, spent nine months to experiment and test the numerous 3D printing techniques, to find the best way to print her creations at home with a simple 3D printer. Danit Peleg finally used the FilaFlex, a filament for 3D printer that is both flexible and robust, allowing to create the lightweight structures of her clothes. It took over 2000 hours to print the collection, or an average of 400 hours per creation. If you like the 3D printed fashion, I also recommend you the project  United Nude , the 3D printed shoes by Zaha Hadid, or the dresses from the projects  4D Dress  and  Hard Copy .
