Paris Syndrome – These photos compare Paris and its Chinese replica (16 pics)

With his project Paris Syndrome, the French photographer Francois Prost had fun comparing the city of Paris and its Chinese counterpart, located in the suburbs of Hanghzou. This amazing architectural project, a gigantic and detailed replica of Paris with its fake Eiffel Tower, its fake Haussmannian buildings and its fake French gardens, is a district of 31km? called Tianducheng, and built 10 years ago.

Having visited this fake Paris, the photographer  Francois Prost has made a series of comparisons by putting photos of Paris and Tianducheng side by side with an amazing precision. An impressive series that reveals the details of this replica, and highlights a little more the surreal aspect of such a project. You can discover the complete series on his  portfolio , and follow Francois Prost on his Instagram account.
