Desert in the City – Discover Tokyo emptied of its inhabitants (15 pics)

With his project Desert in the City, the photographer  Genaro Bardy continues to photograph the major cities of the world, completely emptied of their inhabitants. After New York, Paris, Rome or London , Genaro Bardy leads us today in a deserted Tokyo, while the Japanese metropolis is known for its dense population, with nearly 43 million inhabitants in its agglomeration.

To make these shots of Tokyo, this photographer does not use any editing software, but patiently wait for the right moment to capture the streets with as few people as possible. An impressive performance and some fascinating images! The photos of his first destinations have been published in his book  Ville desert , and you can find the entire Desert in the City project on his  portfolio .
