Photographing Formula 1 with a hundred year old camera (19 pics)

The American photographer Joshua Paul decided to photograph a Formula 1 grand prix with a 1913 Graflex 4×5 , a camera produced more than a hundred years ago! When photographers usually use ultra-fast cameras for such an event, taking up to 20 shots per second in bursts,  Joshua Paul wanted to experiment with another approach, returning to the beginnings of silver photography. With his large Graflex  bellows camera , limiting him to only a few shots during the day, he managed to create beautiful images, capturing the atmosphere of these sporting events. An awesome concept!
