Otherworld – These strange geological formations are formed by erosion (10 pics)

For his Otherworld series, photographer  Kilian Schonberger had the opportunity to photograph the earth pyramids, some strange geological formations formed by erosion! Located in the autonomous province of Bolzano, also known as South Tyrol, these earth pyramids were born from large rocks, brought there by landslides, which protect small parts of the clay soil from the effect of erosion.

[An Interpretation of] the Netherlands Coat of Arms Illustrated with Suspended Layers of Cut Paper (7 pics)

Nearly six months in the making, this superb interpretation of the Netherlands coat of arms was lead by Moldova-based Beauty & the Beast Studio . Illustrator Ivan Belikov rendered the 7-color emblem which was then translated into hundreds of cut fragments that were painstakingly assembled into multiple levels.
