As a great specialist of  Mukimono , the Japanese art of fruit and vegetable sculpture, this young artist continues to meticulously carve avocados, watermelons, dragon fruits or even strawberries with amazing geometric patterns, creating beautiful ephemeral culinary sculptures.

Mystical Arc in the Forest by James Tapscott (4 pics)

Conceived for the Japan Alps Art Festival, the Arc ZERO – Nimbus by James Tapscott is located in Omachi, Japan. The installation marks the entrance to the temple of Hotokizaki Kanon-ji, such as mystical entrance to another world which transforms the all forest in a mysterious and sweet land, full of fairy invisible presences.
