RAW Design , Ferris + Associates and Curio have launched the international open design competition “Winter Stations” in Toronto. The “Snowcone” of the two students Diana Koncan and Lily Jeon have kept the attention : it’s a kinetic lifeguard post in the shape of an organic igloo-cone which adapts the direction of its colorful petals according to the weather.

Impressive Giant Paintings on the Concrete by Roadsworth (13 pics)

Coming from Toronto but based in Montreal, the street artist Peter Gibson, who is generally better know as Roadsworth , invades the urban space. May it be through graffiti, his first passion, or more recently via the creation of giant artworks on the concrete, he reappropriates the city and its numerous roads and pedestrian crossings.
