Rogue One – How the Grand Moff Tarkin was resurrected (11 pics)

Star Wars: Rogue One succeeded in resurrecting the Commander of the Death Star, the Grand Moff Tarkin , played by Peter Cushing in the original trilogy. This actor died in 1994 was able to return to his role, with the same look as his character from 1977! A technological prowess created by the teams of the studio ILM , who reconstituted the actor Peter Cushing in 3D, in order to make him play new scenes. It is thanks to a mold of the face of Peter Cushing , discovered in the archives of Lucasfilm , that the actor could be recreated. The face in 3D and its facial expressions were then applied to the actor Guy Henry . If the result is not yet perfect, the performance is impressive!
