SignAloud – These gloves can translate sign language into words (8 pics)

Two American students have imagined SignAloud , a pair of gloves that can translate sign language into words! This impressive gadget was designed by Thomas Pryor and Navid Azodi , from the University of Washington, who managed to capture the movements of the hands and fingers, to translate them into words spoken aloud by a speaker. With their SignAloud concept, the two students have won the  Lemelson-MIT prize and a $10,000 award to develop their invention. Simply brilliant.
