A Japanese startup wants to create artificial shooting stars , with a satellite capable of launching man-made meteorites! The amazing Project Skycanvas was conceived by the Japanese start-up ALE , led by Lena Okajima , who hopes to create artificial shooting stars by 2018. The satellites of the Project Skycanvas  will carry between 500 and 1000 artificial meteorites, measuring only 2cm in diameter and which composition is kept secret. These artificial shooting stars will be available in different colors, from green to red, through yellow or blue, and will be visible up to 200km. The Project Skycanvas will be used during major celebrations, such as the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020. The future of fireworks will be fired from space!
